About the Role
We are looking for a Product Developer with a strategic mindset and a passion for denim to join our Denim team at H&M Womenswear. You will play an important part in shaping the H&M Women Denim assortment and drive both short- and long-term plans for your category.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define and drive short- and long-term plans for the denim category
- →Identify seasonal keys and react quickly to emerging trends
- →Refine product and component work to build a strong denim offer
- →Take ideas from concept to final product
- →Work closely with product manager, planner, designer, and pattern maker
- →Partner with production team to bring pieces to life with the right quality, fit, and feel
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience as Product Developer or Buyer
- ✓Extensive denim knowledge
- ✓Education in Textiles, Buying, or Product Development
- ✓Proven track record in creating products for the womenswear customer
- ✓Keen eye for current fashion trends with strong fashion intelligence
- ✓Deep passion for products and product development
- ✓Driven, structured, and proactive in taking initiatives
- ✓Salesmanship and results-oriented
- ✓Excellent communication skills
- ✓Strong team player with a flexible attitude
- ✓Ability to identify opportunities, improvements, and efficient solutions
