About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join Hostinger, leading the engineering team behind our AI-first Email Marketing platform. This role focuses on technical direction, delivery velocity, and scaling both systems and people.
Key Responsibilities
- βDrive fast, high-quality delivery with a strong bias toward shipping
- βPartner closely with Product to turn ideas into released features quickly
- βDefine and evolve scalable architecture for a growing AI-powered platform
- βStay close to the code and key technical decisions when needed
- βRemove blockers and continuously improve engineering processes
- βHire, mentor, and grow high-performing engineers
- βFoster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
- βEnsure system reliability, performance, and security as we scale
Requirements
- β5+ years of hands-on software development experience
- β2+ years in an engineering leadership role
- βProven experience leading and growing engineering teams
- βStrong product mindset and passion for building customer-facing SaaS products
- βStrong experience with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel or Symfony)
- βDeep understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL or other) and performance optimization
- βExperience with Redis or other caching solutions
- βExperience with modern TypeScript frameworks (React.js or Vue.js)
- βExperience working with modern cloud platforms (GCP or AWS)
- βPractical experience with Kubernetes
