About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team at Housecall Pro. This role focuses on building scalable solutions that deliver meaningful value to our customers in the home service industry.

Key Responsibilities

→Build a product that improves users’ lives (75k unique daily users, 4.6 ⭐ at App Store)
→Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design, data modeling, and service reliability improvements
→Own features and well-defined projects end-to-end, from implementation to deployment and monitoring
→Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions
→Follow and contribute to technical standards and best practices as we scale
→Continuously learn, share knowledge, and provide thoughtful feedback during code reviews and technical discussions
→Deliver solutions that emphasize performance, stability, extensibility, supportability, and security
→Adopt AI tools in your workflow and contribute to best practices within your team

Requirements

✓3+ years of professional software engineering experience
✓Experience contributing to scalable and reliable applications
✓Ability to work with autonomy on well-defined problems while collaborating on more complex architectural decisions
✓Strong collaboration skills and a product-oriented mindset focused on delivering user and business value
✓Interest in leveraging AI technologies to enhance productivity, quality, and innovation
✓Fluency in English
