About the Role

HubSpot is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their AI Serving team, which is responsible for owning and operating HubSpot's model inference and serving infrastructure. This role will focus on ensuring AI models are reliably deployed, scaled, observed, and cost-efficient across all environments.

Key Responsibilities

→Write and ship production code that powers AI capabilities across HubSpot
→Lead the evolution of model serving and inference infrastructure
→Set technical direction for deploying and operating ML models at scale
→Work closely with Machine Learning Engineers and other Infrastructure teams
→Build and maintain core Python libraries
→Collaborate with teams across the company

Requirements

✓Proven track record of contributing to and leading infrastructure projects at scale
✓Ability to work collaboratively with the team to solve problems and develop platform architecture
✓Experience working effectively across teams to drive technical initiatives
✓Comfort with ambiguity and taking on broad, cross-team problems
✓Coaching and mentorship experience
✓Track record in partnering with recruiting to build engineering teams
✓Bonus: Python expertise and experience with Python tooling and libraries
