About the Role
Hunter Douglas is seeking a Senior React Native Mobile Application Developer to lead the design, development, and support of cross-platform consumer applications in the Smart Home domain. This role requires expertise in mobile development and strong technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and maintain iOS and Android applications using React Native
- →Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-focused features
- →Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to standards
- →Integrate with APIs, backend services, and connected devices over BLE
- →Contribute to architectural decisions and performance optimization
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- ✓5+ years of professional mobile development experience; 3+ years with React Native
- ✓Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with native modules (Swift, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin)
- ✓Experience with mobile app deployment for iOS and Android
- ✓Strong understanding of APIs, mobile security, and performance optimization
- ✓Excellent communication and collaboration skills
