About the Role

We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team at Hunter Douglas, the world’s leading manufacturer of window coverings. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and optimizing day-to-day manufacturing and distribution operations across our sites in Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

→Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet demand, delivery, and service targets
→Ensure compliance with product quality standards and drive corrective and preventive actions
→Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and improve throughput
→Recruit, train, and develop supervisors and hourly employees
→Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
→Coordinate shipping, warehousing, and inventory levels to support on-time delivery and cost efficiency
→Manage operational budgets, labor costs, and material usage

Requirements

✓5–8 years of progressive experience in manufacturing or distribution operations, with at least 2–3 years in a people leadership role
✓Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, production management systems, and lean manufacturing practices
✓Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills
✓SAP system experience
✓Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field
