About the Role
We are seeking a Manager in Revenue Accounting to lead revenue accounting operations, contract lifecycle governance, and quote-to-cash process oversight. This role involves managing a high-performing team, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and driving cross-functional alignment across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead, coach, and develop the Revenue Accounting team
- →Oversee end-to-end contract lifecycle management and ensure accurate contract setup
- →Ensure compliance with GAAP, ASC 606/460, and internal revenue recognition policies
- →Review complex contracts and provide revenue treatment guidance
- →Lead monthly and quarterly revenue close processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- →Manage billing and cash application of contract accounts receivable
- →Drive continuous improvement in quote-to-cash cycle and automate revenue processes
- →Own revenue-related SOX controls and partner with audit teams
- →Provide insight into revenue trends and support strategic initiatives
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- ✓6+ years of progressive accounting experience with ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition
- ✓CPA or MBA highly preferred
- ✓Experience managing or mentoring accounting professionals
- ✓Strong understanding of quote-to-cash processes in SaaS or subscription environments
- ✓Experience with Workday ERP and Salesforce
- ✓Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Ability to manage complexity and operate in a fast-paced environment
