About the Role
We are looking for a Java Tech Lead to join our team in Paris, to work for one of our major banking clients. As a Java Tech Lead, you will be the technical reference for the platform and responsible for its quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- →Ensure high availability and performance of the solution
- →Analyze existing systems and propose continuous improvements to increase SLAs
- →Participate actively in technical and architectural choices, in collaboration with Group architects
- →Be a driving force for technological evolutions and best practices
- →Contribute to the design and development of features in the Sprint Backlog
- →Work on complex topics with high technical value
- →Apply and promote Clean Code principles, TDD/BDD, and Design Patterns
- →Conduct code reviews and quality controls (Sonar, Group standards)
- →Ensure compliance with development and IT security standards
- →Monitor the application of security standards (authentication, authorizations, flows, sensitive data)
- →Participate in IT and business scoping as a technical expert
- →Support design, estimation, and delivery phases
- →Contribute to qualification and production deployment phases
- →Support the skill development of software engineers (junior and experienced)
- →Disseminate development and architecture best practices
- →Participate in the technical recruitment of the team members
Requirements
- ✓Expertise in Java and related technologies
- ✓Strong understanding of Clean Code principles, TDD/BDD, and Design Patterns
- ✓Experience with code quality tools like Sonar
- ✓Knowledge of IT security standards and practices
- ✓Ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior developers
- ✓Experience working in a banking or financial services environment
