About the Role
We are looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to join our International Healthcare portfolio at Informa Markets Malaysia. This role is responsible for revenue generation from new and existing customers within the assigned portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- →Generate revenue through sales of booth, sponsorship/advertisement, and integrated packages to potential and new customers.
- →Develop new business leads through customer relationship development, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- →Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships by understanding their business strategy and needs.
- →Monitor customer pipeline, track against revenue targets, and confirm status of re-bookings.
- →Deliver assigned sales campaigns against accounts, products, and revenue targets.
- →Develop brand and industry-specific knowledge, including competitor events.
- →Collaborate with event and marketing teams to develop attraction campaigns.
- →Maintain accurate customer information and notes within Salesforce.
- →Capture and enter sales contract information into the CRM/invoicing system.
- →Manage sales information and customer requirements to Sales Operations and Event teams.
- →Support Finance in overdue payment collection and commission payment processes.
- →Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- ✓Experience in sales, preferably in the healthcare or events industry.
- ✓Strong understanding of customer business strategies and needs.
- ✓Excellent communication and interdepartmental skills.
- ✓Proficiency in using CRM systems like Salesforce.
- ✓Ability to develop brand and industry-specific knowledge.
- ✓Experience in managing sales campaigns and meeting revenue targets.
