About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AI Engineering Manager to lead and own multiple development teams focused on our consumer AI agenda. This role involves owning AI Engineering strategy and serving as a sparring partner for AI Product Managers, while also working with top leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and manage 3 or 4 teams of multi-disciplinary engineers working with AI technologies, providing mentoring, guidance, and support.
- →Drive innovation and continuous improvement in application system design, architecture, and development processes.
- →Create new best practices and processes for building products with AI-Native technologies, including CI/CD with Evals, test-sets, and Search subsystems.
- →Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define product requirements, develop project plans, and ensure timely delivery of new features.
- →Choose and implement best-in-class open source and paid tools for AI-native software, including MCP Servers, A2A communications, CI/CD pipelines, and workflows.
- →Manage teams developing new AI native workflows, implementing streaming, long-running tasks, procedural UX, etc.
- →Manage the hiring, onboarding, and development of team members, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- →Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
