About the Role
We are looking for a senior full-stack engineer to lead development of modern web experiences and services used globally by educators and learners. This role involves working across the stack from UI to backend services and helping scale systems across regions and time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and own production features in Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS
- →Model data and ship performant Postgres queries
- →Architect multiregion deployments with traffic routing, latency budgets, and failover strategies
- →Build for international audiences with i18n/l10n pipelines and time-zone correctness
- →Instrument services with logs, metrics, and traces
- →Champion accessibility, testing, CI/CD, and code reviews
- →Mentor peers and contribute to technical direction
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- ✓Significant experience in TypeScript and Node.js
- ✓Product-oriented mindset for creating and iterating on features
- ✓Strong Postgres skills including schema design and query tuning
- ✓Security mindset with knowledge of authN/Z, OAuth/OIDC, and edtech compliance
- ✓Excellent communication and product sense
