About the Role
We are looking for a highly capable and independent Product Manager to help define the future of applications across different industries in this new quantum era. This role focuses on leading IonQ on its journey to build the world’s best quantum computing solutions to solve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive the application strategy across industries, identifying and prioritizing the potential of quantum applications
- →Conduct rigorous business analysis for each opportunity, including TAM/SAM, P&L analysis, and alignment with IonQ’s hardware roadmap
- →Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of IonQ’s quantum computing offering and its technical considerations
- →Lead customer discovery workshops and deliver custom projects to uncover new quantum application opportunities
- →Work closely with sales, marketing, and other business teams to inform proposals, pricing strategy, and product positioning
Requirements
- ✓1-2 years of experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm
- ✓Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a reputable university
- ✓Strong analytical modeling and pragmatic 80/20 approach
- ✓Ability to quickly get up to speed in new industries and complex technologies
- ✓Comfortable dealing with advanced technologies and collaborating with engineering experts
- ✓Experience driving innovation strategy or strategic consulting work
- ✓Experience being part of an entrepreneurial team building new categories or businesses
- ✓Strong interest in quantum computing and continuous learning
