About the Role
We are looking for a Back End Engineer to join the Partner Tech team at iwoca. This role involves working on challenging projects across iwoca’s codebase to improve the experience for partners and partner-referred customers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and build backend systems using Python
- →Work with relational databases like PostgreSQL
- →Build and maintain APIs that are easy to use and reliable
- →Manage projects end to end, from understanding business problems to delivering technical solutions
- →Collaborate with other engineers to meet team goals
- →Design and maintain robust, flexible, and maintainable systems
Requirements
- ✓Experience designing and building backend systems using Python
- ✓Experience working with relational databases
- ✓Experience building and maintaining APIs
- ✓Experience managing projects end to end
- ✓Pragmatism in balancing delivery speed with long-term system health
