About the Role
IXL Learning is seeking a Professional Learning Specialist to help educators implement their personalized learning products effectively. This role involves supporting educators through virtual and in-person professional development, delivering national webinars, and hosting IXL Live events.
Key Responsibilities
- βServe as a product expert, providing educators with implementation strategies tailored to their unique classroom needs
- βPartner with school and district leaders to plan and deliver virtual and in-person professional development
- βTravel to facilitate in-person professional development sessions to schools and districts β up to 60% possible travel during back-to-school season
- βSet up, host, and present at regional IXL Live events
- βCollaborate with the sales team to support schools piloting IXL
- βPartner with customer success and sales team members to effectively manage and grow customer relationships
Requirements
- βBA/BS degree
- βMust have 5+ years teaching experience in a K-12 setting
- βEducational professional development experience strongly preferred
- βExceptional communication and presentation skills
- βExcellent interpersonal skills
- βOrganized, methodical, and detail-oriented
- βAbility to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently
- βExperience using Google Apps and Zoom
- βMust live close to a major airport
