About the Role
Jerry.ai is looking for a Director, Business Operations & Strategy (Marketplace Growth) to help scale their core insurance business. This high-visibility role will report directly to the VP of Insurance Operations and own the systems, strategy, and execution behind Jerryβs quoting engine, automation infrastructure, and carrier performance.
Key Responsibilities
- βCreate a seamless user experience by working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and analytics teams
- βEnsure ongoing carrier success to drive critical outcomes for the insurance marketplace
- βShape the strategy of a category-defining fintech company at scale
- βOwn the systems, strategy, and execution behind Jerryβs quoting engine and automation infrastructure
- βManage carrier performance to achieve key business metrics
Requirements
- βBachelorβs degree in a quantitative discipline (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, etc)
- β7+ years of management consulting experience from a top firm (McKinsey, Bain, and Boston Consulting Group preferred)
- βTrack record of hiring and managing high-performing teams
- βStructured framework for problem-solving and first principles approach
- βComfortable communicating with technical stakeholders, business partners, and the companyβs C-suite
- βHigh bar for self and team, constantly pushing for excellence
