About the Role

We are looking for a Data Scientist to provide valuable insights that enhance business operations and drive data-driven decision-making. This role focuses on developing AI/ML tools and predictive models to improve performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

→Work closely with domain experts to assess business problems and opportunities for machine learning
→Design, build, tune, and deploy AI/ML tools in alignment with IT frameworks
→Perform large-scale experiments to uncover relationships between data sets
→Communicate model performance and trade-offs to stakeholders
→Determine requirements for training and evolving deep learning models
→Visualize data insights through engaging dashboards and reports
→Lead the development of divisional strategies for AI/ML outcomes
→Deploy a divisional AI strategy aligned with enterprise goals
→Proactively mine data to identify trends and generate business insights
→Mentor stakeholders in AI/ML expertise and leadership roles
→Collaborate with business units to maximize AI project success
→Identify areas for technical improvements and present business cases

Requirements

✓PhD or master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
✓5+ years of experience with large-scale data to solve problems
✓Prior experience in the Manufacturing Industry
✓Experience in building and deploying predictive models and data pipelines
✓Familiarity with data science toolkits such as Python, R, and PySpark
✓Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL concepts
✓Understanding of emerging technologies like NoSQL databases and predictive analytics
✓Fluent in data science methodologies and tools
✓Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
✓Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences
✓Demonstrated growth mindset with a passion for learning new technologies
✓Strong understanding of data governance and management practices
✓Experience in systems development and project management methodologies
✓Proven track record in managing stakeholder relationships
✓Experience in business case development
