About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join a mission-driven, globally distributed team in Estonia. This role focuses on transforming diverse data sources into reliable pipelines, dashboards, and insights that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and data models to support program outcomes and long-term impact measurement
- →Develop and maintain self-service dashboards and reports for data-driven decision-making
- →Analyze trends and patterns across datasets to guide strategy and program interventions
- →Define and improve data processes, including ETL workflows and storage
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align metrics and reporting standards
Requirements
- ✓Fluency in English with the ability to communicate complex findings
- ✓Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of experience, or Master’s with at least three years in data science or related field
- ✓Strong programming experience with SQL and Python, including API integrations and JSON data handling
- ✓Experience with large-scale data processing technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Presto, and Spark
- ✓Proven experience with data visualization tools such as Apache Superset or Looker Studio
- ✓Solid working knowledge of collaborative tools like Google Workspace
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous learning mindset
- ✓Familiarity with ethical data practices and responsible data management
