About the Role
The Finance Analyst at Juniper Square plays a critical role in supporting the FP&A team with financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis across the business. This individual contributor position works closely with leadership to deliver accurate financial insights and maintain data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- →Deliver accurate forecasts and analysis across multiple functional areas, focusing on data integrity
- →Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes, incorporating inputs from functional teams
- →Support monthly close and forecast update cycles by validating actuals and updating forecasts
- →Prepare Budget vs. Actual (BvA) analysis and variance commentary
- →Build, maintain, and update financial models for departmental planning needs
- →Manage inputs within FP&A systems and tools, ensuring data accuracy
- →Maintain accurate headcount data and forecasts in collaboration with the People team
- →Execute analyses and deliverables based on priorities set by FP&A leadership
- →Serve as a reliable finance resource for internal teams
- →Support improvements to models, templates, reporting, and documentation
- →Document models, assumptions, and processes for consistency and scalability
Requirements
- ✓Advanced academic or professional standing in Finance or related field
- ✓4–6+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or related analytical roles
- ✓Strong understanding of core FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- ✓Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills with complex formulas and scenario analysis
- ✓Experience with FP&A and planning tools like Pigment, Anaplan, or similar
- ✓Solid financial and accounting fundamentals with P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow knowledge
- ✓Ability to work independently with ambiguity while taking direction from leadership
- ✓High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- ✓Collaborative mindset with effective teamwork abilities
