About the Role

We are looking for a Staff Security Engineer to join our team at Justworks, Inc. This role focuses on providing security architecture and engineering guidance to protect our organization and products.

Key Responsibilities

→Provide security architecture and engineering guidance and solutions
→Offer strategic technical and network architectural guidance to senior management
→Develop and design security architecture, design, and coding standards
→Lead technical design reviews to evaluate existing security controls
→Act as tools and services advisor for security control requirements
→Define secure system development lifecycle (SDLC) principles

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field
✓Seven years of experience implementing security architecture principles
✓Seven years of experience building security strategy
✓Seven years of experience with development-based approaches using Go, Python
✓Seven years of experience performing code analysis and review
✓Seven years of experience with secure coding practices
✓Seven years of experience implementing DevSecOps
✓Five years of experience with information security concepts
✓Five years of experience engineering scalable security solutions in cloud-native environments
✓Five years of experience with security scanning technologies (SAST, DAST, Infrastructure as Code scanning)
✓Five years of experience with DevOps, Jira, and Agile automation tools
✓Ability to work a hybrid work arrangement with required in-office days
