The key function of the Senior QA Analyst is to work as the primary owner of the test plan and task verification process for their team (internal and external teams). They work collaboratively with development partners and other QA teams to contribute to the overall quality of the games.Β
This role is a full-time, on-site position based 5 days a week at our Downtown Vancouver studio.
This role is a Temporary Full-Time position with a duration of 8 months (Ends December 2026).
In this role, you can expect to:
Test Plan and Task Verification:
β’ Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans for assigned features or teams.
β’ Define clear verification processes for tasks and ensure their execution.
Tool and Process Improvement:
β’ Collaborate with your QA team to identify areas for improvement in tools and processes.
β’ Assist in the implementation of new tools and process enhancements.
Communication and Relationship Management:
β’ Establish and maintain effective communication channels with development partners.
β’ Foster positive relationships with your teams for effective collaboration.
Execute Testing Methodologies:
β’ Design and execute testing methodologies, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
β’ Develop and maintain test scripts, test cases, and test data.
Test Plan Execution and Analysis:
β’ Conduct and monitor the execution of test plans.
β’ Analyze test results and recommend changes to test coverage, including automation test plans.
Issue Resolution and Solutions:
β’ Take ownership of features and proactively identify blocking issues.
β’ Recommend, implement, and drive solutions to overcome blocking issues.
Coach and Mentor Team members:
β’ Direct and mentor junior QA Analysts on best practices.
β’ Share knowledge and experience with junior team members.
To be successful in this role, your background includes:
β’ High school diploma.
β’ 5+ years of related game testing experience in a similar capacity, preferably for mobile games.
β’ Technical Abilities: Solid understanding of Game Design.
β’ Familiarity with both Android and Apple devices.
β’ Strong aptitude to learn quickly and effectively.
