About the Role
The School Operations Manager (SOM) is responsible for managing and executing smooth daily operations of the school. This role ensures core daily systems are effectively executed and maintains student enrollment targets.
Key Responsibilities
- →Oversee key daily systems such as student arrival, attendance, transitions, lunch/recess, and dismissal
- →Ensure all processes run smoothly and efficiently
- →Manage technology, facilities, and other operational systems, resolving issues promptly
- →Lead planning and execution of student recruitment and enrollment processes
- →Foster strong relationships with staff, students, and families
- →Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and respond within 24-48 hours
- →Manage the School Operations Administrator (SOA), ensuring they meet deadlines, standards, and goals
- →Monitor student health and ensure communication with the school nurse
- →Assist in emergency or high-urgency situations
- →Assist the DOO with special projects and systems supporting instructional vision
- →Conduct daily walkthroughs with the DOO to maintain operational integrity
