About the Role
We are looking for an Engineer with strong SQL Server and C# / Entity Framework experience to support and enhance a business-critical ERP environment at Kogan.com. You'll be a key member of a team focused on delivering innovative customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- →Monitor and manage the SAP B1 production environment to ensure high availability and performance
- →Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the SAP B1 system and its integrations
- →Maintain and optimise SQL Server performance, including queries, stored procedures, and indexes
- →Manage SAP B1 backups, restores, upgrades, patching and capacity planning
- →Support SAP B1 integrations and APIs
- →Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams
- →Provide second/third-line SAP B1 user support and prepare documentation
- →Configure and maintain customisations and add-ons
- →Monitor system health in a Windows/SQL Server environment
- →Assist with data quality checks and finance-critical accuracy requirements
- →Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- ✓Strong SAP B1 knowledge across Financials, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Production, and system administration
- ✓Expert in SQL Server: queries, stored procedures, views, database performance, and integrity
- ✓Experience with C# (or similar) for scripts, enhancements, and Add-ons
- ✓Hands-on experience supporting live SAP B1 environments (SQL preferred)
- ✓Windows Server administration experience
- ✓Excellent troubleshooting in production environments
- ✓Strong analytical mindset
- ✓Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills
- ✓Excellent communication and collaboration skills
