About the Role
You will be working at a fast-paced startup as an engineer in the Technical Support Engineering (TSE) team, responsible for assisting customers with complex technical issues in production and pre-production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work with top developers to implement Kong products and technologies
- →Lead investigations of complex technical puzzles and resolve customer issues
- →Create knowledge articles to complement documentation
- →Provide real-time feedback to engineering and product teams
- →Collaborate with customer-facing teams for issue resolution
- →Participate in bringing innovation within the support team
- →Provide technical mentorship to other team members
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role
- ✓Strong understanding of REST and RESTful APIs
- ✓Coding skills to read and troubleshoot code
- ✓Experience with cloud technologies, containers, and deployment tools
- ✓Knowledge of web architectures including HTTP
- ✓Familiarity with DNS, Linux/Unix systems, and databases
- ✓Experience with GoLang and/or Lua
- ✓Experience with scripting languages like Perl, Ruby, and Shell
