About the Role
We are looking for an engineering leader to drive the performance, reliability, and quality of Lodgify’s Runtime platform. This role involves leading cross-team initiatives, mentoring Engineering Managers, and championing best practices to boost productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead Lodgify’s Runtime area (Core Platform, Infrastructure, SRE) and foster a high-performance, collaborative culture
- →Drive platform reliability, scalability, and security
- →Define an architecture strategy aligned with business goals and technology vision
- →Improve system performance, observability, and disaster recovery
- →Recruit, mentor, and develop top platform engineering talent
- →Collaborate with product, security, and other teams to deliver impactful improvements
- →Explore and integrate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities
Requirements
- ✓At least 3 years of leading platform, infrastructure, or SRE teams
- ✓10+ years of overall software engineering experience
- ✓Strong understanding of platform architecture, scalability, security, and performance optimization
- ✓Proven ability to define and execute architecture and platform strategy
- ✓Experience driving cross-team initiatives to improve engineering productivity
- ✓Skilled in observability, monitoring, and disaster recovery planning
- ✓Track record of mentoring engineers and fostering high-performing teams
- ✓Passion for innovation, evaluating new technologies, and continuous improvement
- ✓Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
