Context of the Mission:
Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) is a global leader in the processing of agricultural products and the merchandising of a diverse range of commodities. Founded and based in Europe, LDC has a strong presence in North and South America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. To support the growing needs for corporate reporting and analysis, LDC is implementing a new back-office solution based on SAP S/4 under the program named BOLD β BackOffice Louis Dreyfus. This role offers the opportunity to develop skills related to LDCβs core financial business processes within the S/4 Hana solution and to play a pivotal role in our ambitious SAP program.
Mission:
As a Business Analyst, you will ensure the effective implementation of business processes in our back-office systems. You will be the end-to-end owner of one or several key IT solutions within Back-Office Services, aligning the delivery roadmap, innovation pipeline, and continuous improvement plan with business needs. You will ensure support structures and run KPIs are maintained, and you will collaborate closely with business process owners (BPOs) or functional heads to prioritize initiatives.
In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, the primary mission of the Business Analyst will be to oversee the deployment of the finance core model for rollout. This involves:
β’ Coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of the finance core model into the countriesβ operations.
β’ Managing the project timeline and resources to achieve the successful implementation of the finance core model within the specified deadlines.
β’ Ensuring compliance with local regulations and financial standards during the deployment process.
β’ Providing training and support to local teams to facilitate the adoption of the new finance core model.
β’ Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the finance core model post-deployment to ensure it meets business requirements and KPIs.This role is critical to the success of the countriesβ rollout and requires a high level of expertise in financial processes, project management, and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Delivery & Management:
β’ Develop and manage the solution delivery, ensuring alignment with business needs.
β’ Conduct an animated workshop to provide detailed presentations, step-by-step guides, compliance training, hands-on sessions, and Q&A to ensure successful deployment and adoption of the finance core model.
β’ Ensure support structures and KPIs are maintained.
β’ Act as the primary point of contact for aligning solution priorities with BPOs and functional heads.Governance & Strategy:
β’ Develop strategies, initiatives, and communication plans to maximize value, adoption, and satisfaction of the solution.
β’ Own the delivery and associated metrics (e.g., SLA).
β’ Manage enhancement requests and prioritize them in collaboration with business stakeholders.
β’ Handle support escalations at level 3 when necessary to ensure continuity.Stakeholder Management:
β’ Collaborate with vendors to ensure expected performance levels.
β’ Ensure business analysts effectively address requirements from business partners/BPO networks.
β’ Oversee and control any implementation impacting your solution, managing dependencies with other solutions.Documentation & Change Management:
β’ Ensure documentation is up-to-date.
β’ Manage the transition to Run phase.
β’ Work closely with various departments to design cross-application flows and ensure process maintenance and enhancement.Leadership:
β’ Lead and manage team capacity and activities.
β’ Champion change management processes.
β’ Provide functional and SAP expertise guidance to the team.
β’ Support strategic decision-making and long-term solution planning.
β’ Conduct business relationship management to align priorities and ensure business value.
β’ Develop action plans for continuous improvement and address recurrent incidents.
β’ Foster skill development within the team.Support:
β’ Support AMS teams for complex topics.
β’ Perform knowledge transfer to support teams, enhancing their autonomy.
β’ Provide solution guidance.Required Skills and Experience:
Technical Skills:
β’ Must: Experienced in IT best practices.
β’ Plus: Proficiency in SAP FI CO, test campaign executions & automation tools, interface implementation, JIRA, and ServiceNow.Soft Skills:
β’ Must: Excellent relationship-building skills, ability to work with multiple teams, fast learner, adaptability, critical thinking, strong analytical, synthesis, and communication skills, flexibility, and comfort with ambiguity.Experience:
β’ Must: Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management, including SAP FICO experience.
β’ Plus: Experience in an international, multicultural environment, within a large IT company, and in a team-oriented and collaborative setting.Languages:
β’ Fluent in English.Education:
β’ Masterβs degree (or equivalent) in a related field.
