About the Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team at M-KOPA, a company that has unlocked $2 billion in cumulative credit for the unbanked across Africa. This role focuses on building the analytics foundation for our next growth phase, where every data-driven decision compounds across millions of customers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Identify opportunities where analysis drives real value by talking with teams across the business
- →Query internal and external databases using SQL, clean and interpret datasets, and build models in SQL, R, and Excel
- →Design clear, impactful presentations of findings and train stakeholders throughout the business to think more rigorously about data
Requirements
- ✓Extensive progressive experience in data analytics with strong proficiency in Excel analysis and SQL querying
- ✓Additional technical skills in R, Python, DAX, or visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau
- ✓Genuine curiosity and business judgment, asking good questions and noticing when something doesn't add up
