About the Role

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to join Magnet Forensics, a global leader in digital investigative software. This role involves automating testing of products and components, mentoring colleagues, and developing internal engineering tools.

Key Responsibilities

→Contribute to and advocate for our test strategy
→Provide technical leadership and mentor colleagues
→Prioritize and mediate risks related to code quality
→Independently design and implement internal development tools
→Help drive AI-first solutions
→Collaborate with teams and Product Owners to assess and advise on testability
→Work with teams to enable faster and higher quality release cycles
→Present solutions and recommendations for maximum return of quality value
→Take responsibility for developing your skills

Requirements

✓5+ years of experience in QA and software development
✓Ability to define requirements and develop test strategies
✓Hands-on experience with object-oriented programming languages (Java, C#, Python)
✓Strong experience in SQL queries
✓Experience in mentoring and coaching team members
✓Expertise in managing risks related to code quality
✓Demonstrated passion for quality
✓Proven ability to build trust and influence within a team
✓Fluency in English (Reading, Writing, Speaking)
