About the Role
We are looking for an Application Engineer to join Markforged, a leader in digital manufacturing transformation. This role combines engineering, sales, and customer service to support customers and partners in utilizing our advanced 3D printing technology.
Key Responsibilities
- →Gain expert technical knowledge of Markforged products and the additive manufacturing industry
- →Train customers and resellers on our products and applications
- →Provide sales support and solve printing/design challenges for unique applications
- →Drive feedback for marketing materials and conduct product demonstrations
- →Support internal teams including sales, marketing, engineering, and product design
- →Pursue strategic initiatives and build strategic relationships
Requirements
- ✓B.S. Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred), M.S. Engineering is a plus
- ✓5-8 years of engineering experience
- ✓2-4 years of customer-facing role experience
- ✓Demonstrated project management abilities and capability for public speaking
- ✓CAD experience required
- ✓Manufacturing and/or Design experience
- ✓Prior experience with Additive Manufacturing in industrial or production environments preferred
- ✓Willingness to travel up to 75%
Benefits
Expected Total Compensation: Base pay of $101,000-$116,450 with potential total earnings up to $142,075 including variable incentive pay
