About the Role
We’re seeking a Product Manager for our Screens & Transactions team at Mechanical Orchard, a company specializing in modernizing critical business applications. This newly formed team is building platform features to support modernization of transactional mainframe workloads and terminal screens.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define the product vision and strategy for your team
- →Collaborate with forward-deployed engineering teams and technical partners to understand the product experience
- →Identify and prioritize product investments based on user needs and business goals
- →Partner with engineering and technical leadership to define your team’s roadmap
- →Drive execution of the team's work in close collaboration with technical leadership
- →Represent your product internally and externally with stakeholders, partners, and customers
- →Articulate customer value and benefits of your team’s offering
Requirements
- ✓A Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical field
- ✓4+ years in a product management role in a highly technical environment
- ✓A strong technical background with ability to grasp technical concepts
- ✓Experience building enterprise-scale products, ideally with a focus on transactional systems
- ✓Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- ✓Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver high-quality product experiences
- ✓A bias for action and comfort with using AI tools
- ✓People in this role will have a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, with frequent team-to-team communication and interaction with all levels of leadership.
