About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our team at MetroStar. This role focuses on developing compelling, compliant proposal content for Federal government clients. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and various teams to translate complex technical solutions into clear, persuasive narratives.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead development of proposal content across all volumes and sections in response to Federal government solicitations
- →Analyze RFP/RFQ requirements and develop structured, evaluator-focused content strategies
- →Interview SMEs and key personnel to extract technical details and transform them into clear, compliant, and compelling narratives
- →Integrate win themes, discriminators, and value propositions to elevate proposals
- →Ensure consistency of voice, terminology, and messaging across volumes and contributors
- →Support solution sessions, draft reviews, and color team recovery cycles
- →Partner with proposal managers and contributors to ensure deliverables align with proposal schedules and internal quality standards
Requirements
- ✓An active or ability to obtain a security clearance - Secret or above
- ✓10+ years of experience supporting Federal government proposal responses
- ✓Minimum 5 years of experience developing highly technical proposal content in AI/ML, DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Enterprise IT
- ✓Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, compliant, and compelling proposal narratives
- ✓Proven experience collaborating with capture managers, proposal managers, technical SMEs, and cross-functional teams
- ✓Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Word
- ✓Strong understanding of Federal proposal compliance requirements and structured proposal development processes
