About the Role
We are looking for a Motion Designer to join Mistral’s founding team and define how our brand moves, feels, and connects with the world. This role focuses on crafting the kinetic identity of a leading AI company.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define and document motion principles, creating a flexible and scalable system
- →Concept, design, and animate high-impact motion assets across various surfaces
- →Collaborate with product, marketing, and external partners to ensure consistent motion language
- →Lead by example, guiding external agencies and partners to maintain high standards of craft
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of motion design experience with a strong portfolio
- ✓Obsession with craft, attention to every frame, transition, and interaction
- ✓Proficiency in Figma and After Effects (or Cavalry)
- ✓Ability to turn complex ideas into seamless motion
- ✓Independent, proactive, and resourceful with a bias for action
- ✓Collaborative and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment
