About the Role
Join us as an Associate Account Executive! In this entry-level role, you'll manage the complete sales process and drive revenue growth in your assigned region. We're looking for a dedicated and motivated individual with a sales strategy and a go-getter attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage a book of business of several million dollars, responsible for growth and retention of high value and strategic accounts
- →Proactively identify, qualify, and close a sales pipeline
- →Strategically prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and developers
- →Become a product expert and understand all components of MongoDB
- →Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities
- →Partner with our Solution Architects and work closely with the Professional Services team to achieve customer satisfaction
- →Participate in our sales enablement trainings, including our comprehensive Sales Bootcamp, sophisticated sales training, and leadership and development programs
Requirements
- ✓Senior business development experience
- ✓Plus if you have 1-2 years of experience in a quota-carrying role in a fast-paced and competitive market
- ✓Demonstrated ability to open new accounts and generate qualified pipeline
- ✓A proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
- ✓Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
- ✓Skilled in building business champions
- ✓Fluent in English
- ✓Must live in territory (Chicago)
- ✓Driven and competitive. Possess a strong desire to be successful
- ✓Familiarity with databases, developers, and open source technology a plus
