About the Role
We’re looking for a driven individual with superb energy, passion, and initiative to grow one of MongoDB's top clients in the US. The Strategic Account Director role focuses on formulating and executing a sales strategy within a global account, resulting in account expansion and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- →Proactively identify, qualify, and close a sales pipeline
- →Strategically prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end users
- →Navigate complex C-level relationships
- →Manage an extended team to drive the account strategy
- →Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities
- →Partner with Solution Architects and work closely with the Professional Services team to achieve customer satisfaction
- →Work closely with enterprise ecosystem partner sales and channel partner to maximize deal sizes
- →Participate in sales enablement training, including Sales Bootcamp and leadership development programs
Requirements
- ✓7+ years of quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced and competitive market
- ✓Demonstrated ability to manage global accounts and run a complex sales process
- ✓A proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
- ✓Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
- ✓Skilled in building technical and business champions
- ✓Driven and competitive with a strong desire to be successful
