About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead SAS technology replacement in the Americas and Canada for the Siemens DISW SLC product line. The SLC PreSales Solution Architect will assist the sales team in selling structured SAS Technology migration projects, enabling clients to continue programming in the SAS language while utilizing a more modern data science and analytics platform.

Key Responsibilities

→Qualify deals through collaboration with the Sales team and selling partners
→Establish effective working relationships with Sales and Services to assist in all stages of deal closure
→Perform discovery in customer SAS environments to determine algorithm conversion requirements
→Help Services create Statements of Work (SOW) for SLC projects
→Analyze current customer SAS architecture and design target migration proposals
→Work with product management, support, and engineering on roadmap activities
→Study client custom solutions and build similar solutions in SLC or using open-source technologies
→Attend customer meetings and represent Siemens DISW SLC
→Travel 25-35% of the time for client meetings and presentations
→Manage sales pipeline activity and triage time effectively
→Design and create SLC-related demonstrations, Proofs-of-Concept (POC), and evaluations
→Work closely with Siemens services and partners to ensure enablement throughout the sales cycle

Requirements

✓7+ years’ experience in various facets of presales in enterprise selling
✓3-5 years experience directly with SAS environments
✓Seasoned in all facets of customer interaction and communication
✓Knowledge and experience of data architecture, data processing, database systems, and analytics
✓Knowledge of the SQL language and other business analytics tools and languages
