About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join MyPass Global, a multi-award-winning workforce compliance software company. This role will complement the Lead Software Engineer in designing, developing, and optimizing high-quality and scalable applications and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide coaching to your team and the department
- →Work in an agile software engineering environment to deliver features that delight customers
- →Write software in an iterative environment using continuous integration and continuous delivery
- →Collaborate to design, document, engineer, test, deploy, scale, and operate software
- →Contribute technically to ensure design feasibility, usability, architecture, code quality, testability, scalability, and performance
- →Suggest appropriate technologies, techniques, and standards to help deliver goals
- →Participate in scrum ceremonies to provide visibility and accountability
- →Pair with other team members
- →Support and develop other software engineers by providing advice, coaching, mentoring, and educational opportunities
- →Work to ensure homogeneous code contributions from everyone on your team
- →Work with a geographically distributed software engineering team
- →Assist with driving the adoption of good practices across the department
- →Update job knowledge by studying development tools, programming techniques, and technologies
Requirements
- ✓Minimum of four years of experience as a Software Engineer
- ✓Proficient in Java and Spring frameworks
- ✓Proven experience in Unit Testing
- ✓Adept with Agile ways of working
- ✓Hands-on experience with Cloud services (AWS/Azure/Google)
- ✓Good English proficiency
- ✓Previous work experience with Australian/Western (North America and European) teams is an advantage
