About the Role
Product Managers are strategic leaders responsible for driving the development, launch, and ongoing support of a company's products. They focus on long-term vision, market trends, and identifying new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Analyze market trends, monitor competitors, and identify opportunities in organizational processes.
- →Support product sales or other product goals established.
- →Set ambitious and clear product vision and communicate it effectively to stakeholders, the team, and the rest of the unit.
- →Develop end-to-end team output strategy from inception to production.
- →Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure digital vision and products align with value streams.
- →Accountable for product-specific KPIs once solution enters production and communicate regular tracking to stakeholders.
- →Utilize market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for their team.
- →Maintain a backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the team.
- →Work closely with CPO to establish each product's business value and support messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
- →Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and ensure customer-driven design.
Requirements
- ✓2 to 3 years of experience in roles with similar responsibilities.
- ✓Leadership: Effectively manage own time and provide visibility into ongoing work; recognize when teammates encounter difficulties and offer support; demonstrate initiative without constant direction.
- ✓Agile: Apply values of quality, response to change, and customer centricity in working iteratively and incrementally; understand differences between agile and traditional practices.
- ✓Design: Know good design practices applicable to the role; identify opportunities to apply best practices.
- ✓Optimization: Design solutions with performance in mind; perform proof of concept on potential solutions; identify performance issues and alert the team.
- ✓Analyze technologies or methods that complement, improve, or optimize the solution; offer optimization solutions that positively impact metrics.
- ✓Technical Tutoring: Solve many technical impediments the development team encounters; suggest good practices, novel technologies, and methodologies; promote discussions on the best ways to approach a solution; provide ongoing on-the-job coaching to junior team members.
