About the Role
The Facilities Project Manager will be responsible for handling both large and small-scale projects within the NBCUniversal real estate portfolio in NY and NJ. This role involves working with the Operations and Technology (O&T) team to ensure projects are completed within scope and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage third-party project management resources for individual projects
- →Coordinate internal resources and third-party consultants, vendors, and contractors
- →Ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget
- →Manage the creation of Project Charters defining scope, schedule, budget, and objectives
- →Manage changes in project scope and schedule
- →Coordinate with the NBCU Sourcing department for consultant, contractor, and vendor selection
- →Report and escalate issues to the O&T management team
- →Manage relationships between internal and third-party resources
- →Assemble documents and presentations for project approval
- →Track and report on project costs compared to budget
- →Chair weekly project coordination meetings
- →Manage and approve construction activities in the NBCU Work Flow schedule
- →Develop, track, and monitor project cash flow
- →Review invoices and payment applications
- →Receive and review lien documents
- →Develop and track interim schedule milestone dates
- →Partner with Client Service Leaders to develop swing plans
- →Coordinate moves as required for projects
- →Manage project close-out including punch lists and documentation
- →Ensure documents are filed in the O&T shared project filing system
- →Assemble post-mortem reports for completed projects
Requirements
- ✓Experience in facilities project management
- ✓Strong coordination and communication skills
- ✓Ability to manage budgets and timelines
- ✓Knowledge of construction and technical projects
- ✓Experience working with architects, engineers, and consultants
- ✓Ability to lead projects from inception through closeout
- ✓Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- ✓Experience with project management software and tools
- ✓Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- ✓Understanding of real estate portfolio management
- ✓Experience with broadcast operations is a plus
