About the Role
You'll be joining Neurons Lab as a part-time Python Backend Developer to contribute to a cutting-edge healthcare SaaS platform. This GenAI-powered project focuses on processing medical documents, classifying medical device incidents, and delivering automated monitoring reports.
Key Responsibilities
- →Implement robust APIs using FastAPI with proper authentication and error handling
- →Develop and optimize graph database models with Memgraph and Cypher queries
- →Integrate backend services with AI engines for document processing and classification
- →Design tenant-aware data models for multi-tenant SaaS architecture
- →Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using pytest
- →Maintain up-to-date API and technical documentation
Requirements
- ✓4+ years of hands-on Python backend development
- ✓2+ years of experience with FastAPI or similar async frameworks
- ✓1+ year of multi-tenant SaaS development experience
- ✓Advanced proficiency in Python 3.9+, FastAPI, Pydantic, and async programming
- ✓Strong understanding of REST principles, API versioning, and error handling
- ✓Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL databases
- ✓Familiarity with Git, Docker, and Linux/UNIX command line
- ✓Experience with graph databases like Memgraph or Neo4j is a plus
- ✓Knowledge of GenAI/LLM integration is a plus
- ✓Experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration is a plus
- ✓Full-stack capability with React is a plus for occasional frontend contributions
