About the Role
We are looking for a Specialist Automation QA Engineer to join NICE Systems, a worldwide leader in software solutions. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test cases for distributed systems, with a focus on both front-end UI and backend services.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, implement, and maintain automated test cases using tools like Selenium and Playwright
- →Develop scripts for automated tests in Typescript
- →Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- →Use AI tools to generate test cases and scenarios
- →Conduct comprehensive testing of web-based SaaS applications and RESTful APIs
- →Utilize testing frameworks like NUnit and Playwright
- →Report and manage software issues using defect tracking tools
- →Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- →Implement various testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- →Conduct performance and security testing for SaaS applications
Requirements
- ✓BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree
- ✓2-4 years of experience in software testing and automated testing of microservices
- ✓Hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium
- ✓Strong understanding of test automation design patterns and tools
- ✓ISTQB certification (or equivalent) preferred
- ✓Experience in creating clear test plans, scripts, and reporting results
- ✓Utilize Git or similar version control systems
- ✓Practical experience in manual and automated testing across UI, business logic, data access, and APIs
- ✓Experience in API/Web Services Testing using tools like Postman
- ✓Experience in cross-browser and non-functional testing strategies
- ✓Good understanding of testing design patterns and experience in implementing automated tests for REST APIs
- ✓Experience with AWS tools such as Kafka, EKS, Kubernetes
- ✓Experience with Continuous Integration workflows and tooling
