About the Role
We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to lead and oversee technical aspects for one of the largest custom applications at NIQ. This role involves working closely with the Product Owner and cross-functional partners to influence the roadmap and define innovative solutions.

Requirements
- ✓Experience developing and maintaining applications in .NET / C# and SQL Server
- ✓Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
- ✓Ability to work with both modern .NET Core solutions and legacy WebForms applications
- ✓Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
- ✓Effective communication of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- ✓Strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
- ✓Ownership of work and delivery of high-quality software solutions
- ✓Adaptability and openness to learning new technologies
- ✓Optimization of database queries in SQL and improvement of application performance
- ✓Leadership in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
