About the Role

We are looking for an Accountant to join our finance team at Ninja Van. This role focuses on supporting financial reporting, month-end closing, and process improvements in a fast-growing logistics company across Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

→Support preparation of management accounts, financial results, and forecasts
→Support audit processes and provide guidance for statutory financial reports
→Perform month-end closing and complete monthly/yearly close processes
→Partner with Country Finance for reporting, controls, audit, and tax matters
→Apply technical accounting principles and understand International Accounting Standards/US GAAP
→Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures for Record to Report processes
→Evaluate specific transactions for proper accounting treatment
→Assist in ensuring internal control structure is effective and gaps are remediated
→Review work of account executives for accuracy and compliance
→Participate in process standardizations and optimizations
→Post journals including accruals and depreciation
→Perform reconciliations
→Assist in overseeing end-to-end cash on delivery process

Requirements

✓3–5 years of relevant experience in a Shared Services environment
✓Diploma, Degree, or Professional Certification in Accountancy
✓Advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
✓Experience in a multinational organization, preferably in fast-growing environments
✓Strong proficiency in Excel
✓Prior experience in SSC environments is an added advantage
✓Experience in transformation initiatives including process improvements and automation
✓Knowledge of NetSuite ERP is an added advantage
✓Familiarity with automation and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau is an added advantage
✓Knowledge of Macros or system scripting is an added advantage
