About the Role
You will establish and lead the finance function at Northwood Space, playing a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy and operations in the satellite communications industry. This is a unique opportunity to make a substantial impact on the company's growth while building a best-in-class finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and implement financial strategy to support growth objectives, including fundraising, budgeting, and forecasting
- →Lead preparation of accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- →Manage relationships with external auditors and support investor relations
- →Oversee cash flow, working capital, and liquidity
- →Establish and manage day-to-day accounting operations
- →Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- ✓10+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- ✓Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- ✓Expertise in financial accounting, compliance, and reporting
- ✓U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent resident, or eligible to obtain required authorizations
