About the Role

We are looking for a Revenue Accounting Analyst to join Toast's Revenue Accounting team. This role involves building analytics and automation systems to move Toast from manual spreadsheets toward system-driven controls and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

→Build and maintain event-based analytical tables in Snowflake to translate raw data into accounting-ready metrics
→Design and own self-service dashboards (Sigma/Tableau) for revenue validation and reconciliation
→Automate journal entry preparation and bank reconciliations using tools like Alteryx or SQL
→Serve as the translator between Accounting and Data Engineering teams
→Ensure completeness and accuracy of finance data assets
→Proactively identify ways to improve data quality and reporting efficiency

Requirements

✓6–9+ years in data analytics, finance systems, or BI, preferably within fintech, payments, or high-volume e-commerce
✓Expert-level SQL skills and hands-on experience with Snowflake
✓Proven ability to develop auditable dashboards in Sigma, Tableau, or similar tools
✓Solid understanding of financial concepts such as revenue flows and balance sheet reconciliations
✓Ability to operate independently as a high-level individual contributor
