About the Role
We are looking for a Workplace Technologies Support Intern to join our team at Okta in San Francisco. This role focuses on providing world-class on-site technology support for employees and maintaining various workplace technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide daily support of on-site technologies including laptops, desktops, and workplace technologies
- →Perform daily conference room system checks and preventative maintenance
- →Create knowledge base articles to support timely troubleshooting
- →Create best practice videos for OktaTV
- →Provide break/fix support and resolve issues in a timely manner
- →Learn how to prevent reoccurring issues and improve system stability
- →Become a resource for users to learn how to use conference rooms
- →Provide live event support during company meetings
- →Support remote users attending meetings and monitor event recording
Requirements
- ✓Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and graduating December 2026 or Spring 2027
- ✓General IT troubleshooting skills
- ✓Ability to document technical systems and issues
- ✓Experience with networking and understanding of DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and VPN
- ✓Experience with video conferencing
- ✓Experience with DHCP, iOS, and Windows
- ✓Understanding of SaaS application management
- ✓Self-motivated, results-oriented, data-driven, adaptable, with strong time management skills
- ✓Experience with Confluence or other knowledge base platforms
- ✓Experience with ServiceNow is a plus
- ✓Experience with Slack, Google Suite, MAC OSX, Windows OS, and Okta
