About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Organizations team at Okta. This role focuses on designing and delivering powerful new enterprise functionality for our SaaS customers, helping to manage access for their customers and partners at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive architectural vision and strategy to design and deliver new enterprise functionality for our SaaS customers
- →Identify and implement strategic technical improvements to our codebase and architecture
- →Mentor and coach less experienced engineers on engineering practices and technical leadership
- →Work with Product Manager and Product Designer to define new features and review customer feedback
Requirements
- ✓Solid architectural and security knowledge with experience in designing complex distributed systems
- ✓Experience with Node.js (JavaScript or Typescript) to build scalable backend services and APIs
- ✓Understanding of SQL databases and experience with Docker and cloud environments (AWS and Azure)
- ✓Experience operating services at scale with appropriate observability tools
- ✓Knowledge of authentication protocols such as OAuth2, OIDC, SAML
