About the Role
We are looking for a highly impactful Data Scientist, Risk to join OKX, one of the fastest-growing global cryptocurrency exchanges. This role requires a strategic perspective, deep analytical and modeling capabilities, and a collaborative working style.
Key Responsibilities
- →Identify complex fraud patterns and their technical root causes through detailed data mining and analysis
- →Serve as technical SME by sharing new data mining techniques and maintaining technical reference documentation
- →Collaborate across business and technology stakeholders to communicate analytical findings
- →Provide technical guidance for engineering projects that incorporate new data points
- →Use Link Analysis/Graph analytics to find and mitigate deeply-connected fraud networks
- →Develop machine learning models and partner with product and engineering teams
Requirements
- ✓Master’s degree (or PhD) in a quantitative discipline
- ✓4+ years of fraud analytics experience in financial services or FinTechs
- ✓Crypto/Blockchain experience
- ✓Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques
- ✓Advanced programming skills in SQL, R, Python
- ✓Successful track record of owning and driving complex data analysis projects
- ✓Strong communicator in both writing and speaking
