About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Designer to join our creative team at OpenAI. This role involves shaping and executing OpenAI’s brand across international markets, translating global creative direction into culturally resonant work.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and deliver high-quality work across international brand campaigns, marketing, digital, content, experiential, events, and partnerships
- →Translate global brand strategy and creative direction into culturally resonant executions across markets
- →Uphold a high bar for craft, concept, and storytelling from initial explorations through final delivery
- →Collaborate closely with the U.S. Creative Studio to apply global systems, standards, and guidance consistently and thoughtfully
- →Partner with regional marketing teams to develop market-specific ideas and adaptations that feel bold, relevant, and unmistakably on-brand
- →Contribute to the evolution of OpenAI’s visual system and design principles, bringing a global lens and strong point of view
- →Work with external agencies, production studios, and creative partners, helping to shape direction, review work, and maintain quality
- →Interpret briefs and strategy, identifying the core insight and translating it into clear creative routes and design solutions
- →Present and communicate design decisions effectively to cross-functional stakeholders
- →Support and elevate other designers through feedback, collaboration, and shared craft
Requirements
- ✓Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual clarity, refined craft, and thoughtful execution across multiple mediums
- ✓Experience working on brand projects at a global or international scale, with sensitivity to cultural nuance and local context
- ✓Highly hands-on approach, enjoying shaping ideas from early concept through to final delivery
- ✓Sharp design eye and a clear point of view, able to articulate thinking with confidence and clarity
- ✓Experience collaborating across cultures, markets, and time zones in dynamic environments
- ✓Ability to elevate work through thoughtful feedback, shared craft, and a generous team mindset
- ✓Balance creativity with rigor, strategic thinking, and a strong sense of brand responsibility
