🚀 We’re on a mission to make real estate transactions smarter, faster, and friction-free.
🏢 Real estate is the world’s largest asset class, yet the legal processes and tools behind it remain slow, manual, and underinvested. Lawyers must review dense documents line by line and piece together information across silos, all while clients demand faster, more transparent due diligence.
🤖 That's where we come in. Orbital Copilot is the AI assistant built exclusively for commercial real estate law. Developed with former practicing real estate lawyers, it accelerates complex due diligence by up to 70% while delivering legal-grade precision.
💰 We’ve just raised a $60m Series B to accelerate our UK/US expansion.
🤝 We're trusted by leading firms like Goodwin and BCLP to remove the busywork so legal teams can focus on what they do best: applying sharp legal judgment, delivering standout client service, and getting deals over the line faster.
💡 Working at Orbital means joining a team that's reimagining how real estate transactions get done - moving fast, working collaboratively, and giving people the ownership to make a real impact from day one.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a strategic Events Manager to lead the design and delivery of high-impact in-person and digital events for Orbital. This role is central to driving brand awareness, generating pipeline and cultivating an engaged community of customers, prospects and industry advocates.
From customer roundtables to conferences and community meetups, you’ll design end-to-end experiences that create lasting impressions and deliver measurable commercial outcomes. You’ll approach every event as a full campaign: partnering with Sales, Customer Success, and Senior Leadership on pre-event targeting, tailored content and post-event follow-ups that move prospects through the funnel and strengthen Orbital’s brand presence and recall.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and deliver a calendar of high-impact digital and in-person events, including industry conferences, Orbital-branded flagship events, regional meetups and customer engagements
- Lead end-to-end event campaigns: collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Senior Leadership to define target audiences, outreach strategies, and engagement goals for each event
- Build a clear framework for event ROI, reporting on key metrics (attendance, engagement, pipeline impact, conversion, community growth) and continuously optimising for performance
- Partner with subject matter experts and customer advocates to shape compelling programming and ensure high-value attendee participation
- Build and nurture an active community of customers, prospects, and industry influencers—through event-led networking and customer advocacy initiatives that keep Orbital top of mind between events
- Own pre-and post-event communications, ensuring seamless handoff and thoughtful follow-up to maximise conversion and relationship-building
- Identify and empower customer champions to share their stories through speaking opportunities, testimonials, and peer-to-peer referrals
- Design repeatable playbooks and scalable infrastructure to support Orbital’s growing event presence
- Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, and logistics across multiple cities and time zones
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
- Demand Gen & Content—event promotion, registration campaigns, content production for event collateral, and post-event nurture sequences
- US Sales (AEs, BDRs)—pre-event targeting, post-event follow-ups, deal support at executive events, and feedback on event quality and pipeline impact
- Customer Success—identifying customer champions, sourcing speakers and panellists, coordinating customer-facing events, and post-event handoff for relationship continuity
- Senior Leadership—executive participation in flagship events, strategic alignment on event themes, and visibility into community growth and brand impact
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in B2B event marketing, ideally within SaaS, legal tech, or professional services
- Proven ability to engage C-level audiences and work closely with executive stakeholders across the US market
- Experience delivering a range of events—from intimate roundtables and community meetups to full-scale conferences
- A campaign mindset: understanding how to align events with broader marketing, community engagement, and revenue objectives
- Strong communicator and collaborator who thrives cross-functionally and manages multiple stakeholders and timelines with ease
- Analytical and data-driven, with experience tracking and reporting on pipeline contribution and event ROI
- Proficiency with event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Hopin), marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot), and community or engagement tools (e.g., Slack, LinkedIn, Common Room)
- Resourceful, creative, and excited to shape a world-class event engine at a high-growth company
- Willingness to travel domestically to support events across key US markets
NICE TO HAVE
- Familiarity with the legal industry or technology landscape
Existing network within the US legal tech or professional services community.
