About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong Java development background to lead and manage large-scale enterprise application initiatives. This role requires a blend of project management expertise, Agile/Scrum leadership, and deep technical understanding to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of complex software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

→Lead end-to-end project delivery for Java-based enterprise applications.
→Run Scrum of Scrum calls as a Technical Project Manager.
→Act as Scrum Master, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
→Work closely with Product Owners to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans.
→Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
→Coordinate with development, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
→Provide technical oversight and guidance to development teams on Java architecture and best practices.
→Track sprint progress, velocity, and KPIs using Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence).
→Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
→Prepare and present project status reports to senior leadership and clients.
→Identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks proactively.
→Support production releases, post-release reviews, and continuous optimization.

Requirements

✓15+ years of overall IT experience with strong project/program management exposure.
✓Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager and Scrum Master.
✓Strong hands-on or architectural experience in Java / J2EE.
✓Solid understanding of Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, SOAP and RESTful APIs, SQL & NoSQL databases, Data Bricks and ETLs.
✓Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
✓Proficiency with Agile tools: JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps.
✓Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
✓Experience managing distributed and offshore teams.
