About the Role
We are looking for a founding Brand Designer to establish how Owner shows up in the world. This role focuses on defining and evolving our visual language, shaping our voice and tone, and building a system that can scale across product marketing, campaigns, partnerships, internal culture and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- →Evolve Owner's brand identity across visual systems, typography, color, illustration style, photography direction, physical products, and tone of voice
- →Create brand guidelines and systems that empower the team and partners to execute consistently
- →Design for impact across the customer journey, from awareness to advocacy
- →Build internal brand presence through employee merchandise and team swag
- →Collaborate cross-functionally with product design, marketing, sales, and leadership
- →Bring ideas to life quickly through various design projects
- →Stay connected to our customers and ensure the brand reflects their reality
- →Build for scale, creating systems that support future growth
Requirements
- ✓7+ years of brand design experience with a mix of in-house and agency work
- ✓Strong visual design fundamentals: typography, layout, color theory, illustration, and motion
- ✓Systems thinking: ability to build frameworks that others can use and adapt
- ✓Comfort with ambiguity and ability to translate abstract ideas into compelling visual narratives
- ✓Hands-on execution skills with ability to art direct and delegate
- ✓Collaborative instincts with ability to work well with non-designers
- ✓Understanding of how brand and product intersect
- ✓Bonus: experience designing for small business, hospitality, or mission driven brands; familiarity with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI design tools
